New Year, Chakras & Angels.

It is the time of year when we often look to make resolutions and new beginnings in life but I have to admit that I don’t make any resolutions. I decided that what I would wish for in the New Year I would aim to have all year around. Easier said than done you might say! One thing I am sure of is that life can be tough. On this journey we endure childhood, school, teenage years, new life and sometimes bereavement, building and maintaining our relationships with family and partners not to mention the challenges of career and managing money. All of these aspects of life give us many emotional challenges to overcome.

I was raised in East Leeds and have lived here most of my life. After going through some life changing events it gave me time and reason to have a stop and think about what I wanted. During this time I came across a natural complementary therapy that changed my whole life; Energy Healing. I felt drawn to try this treatment as it promised to work on the whole mind, body & spirit. During and after the treatment I cannot describe in words the peace and relaxation I felt. Shortly after I trained to be an energy healer myself and it was the start of a transformational journey for me on every level possible!

I had always wondered about life, death and the physical body and knew that there had to be more to it than what we can see. I held the belief that all things and people are made up of energy. Most people have heard of the aura (or auric field) around the physical body and it is in this area that we have several energy points known as Chakras. Through the Chakras we take in energy and we give out energy. Similarly to food and water we wouldn’t be alive without them. We have hundreds of them in the body but have seven major chakras reaching from the top of the head to the base of the spine. People sensitive to energy can see or sense the chakras. My ability is to sense them.

So, now imagine all of the things you may have been through during your life so far; happy and challenging. When we are happy and healthy the chakras operate perfectly. When we are challenged they struggle to work like they should. If we do not deal with negative feelings and release them, the vibrations are held in the body (sometimes for many years and commonly from childhood) and as the body tries to release the imbalance it can result in a physical sign of illness. This can range from a symptom such as mild stress or anxiety to more serious illnesses such as cancer.
Energy healers have the ability to channel energy through their body into the chakras of another, loosening up blockages, bringing about a deep relaxation and peacefulness to the physical mind and body. There are many forms of energy healing available and I have trained in two of them; Usui Reiki healing which taps into the universal and spirit energy that surrounds us all and Angelic Reiki Healing which works specifically with a very high and pure level of energy from the Angelic realms. This energy is totally transformational and not only loosens blockages but connects people to their soul energy and life purpose. It can be life changing.

When I describe Angelic Energy Healing this sometimes raises questions from people. It simply means to be able to sense energetic imbalances in people’s bodies and I work specifically with Angels to help rebalance these areas. It is a natural ability that I believe most people can develop if they so wish. After training as a healer and learning about auras and energy I spent a couple of years self-healing. Yes it is possible to heal yourself and the healing journey often begins with self before you can assist others. The possibilities you have within are endless!
It is NOT based on any religion but is respectful of all belief systems and works well alongside traditional medicine as it is a totally natural treatment. I have spent a few years working on a voluntary basis as an energy healer and now I have recognised this as a life purpose and run a mobile therapy business assisting people who wish to transform the mind, body and spirit.
